All notes connected to the table of contents are special notes for those reading The Silencing of
Satan
. Most people will not fully appreciate the value of these special notes until they read this book.

Chapter 1: See notes on Chapters 3 and 6 concerning a judgment long before the Second Coming.

Chapter 2:

Chapter 3: Those who say that the investigative judgment happens in an instant before the Second Coming do not take into
account the factors discussed in this chapter. On this question also see comments below under "Chapter 6."

Chapter 4: Note on pp. 48,49: I must admit to a weakness in this section. I should have taken into account the obvious fact
that the Devil can make us feel bad, even guilty, when we are doing the right thing. In these situations we must put our faith
in the promises of God's approval--faith in God's Word. Coerced obedience is also a situation where feelings of peace are
unlikely to follow. Obedience must be a personal choice for it to have the desired effect upon our sense of assurance. In
saying these things, I do not disavow anything said in this chapter. I only mean to clarify that which is maintained.

is in response to those who claim that the investigative
judgment happens in an instant just before the Second Coming.
